How to edit Fujifilm X-T20 MXF files in iMovie?

Can't import MXF files from your Fujifilm X-T20 to iMovie any longer after upgraded to macOS High Sierra? You are not the only one. At the moment, High Sierra does not have native support for MXF files yet. Fortunately, this problem can be solved via transcoding Fujifilm X-T20 MXF video to iMovie preferred Apple InterMediate Codec (AIC .mov) first.

"Why iMovie refused loading MXF files from my Fujifilm X-T20 on High Sierra that it should open? I hope it is a bug, because now I have an awful lot of projects based on Fujifilm X-T20 MXF files which are unusable (black screen, no sound) and I have no intention of purchasing Final Cut Pro X just to make simple edits. Any ideas?"
