Transcode Sony Alpha a7 II XAVC S to DNxHD for Premiere Windows version

Still having issues dealing with Sony Alpha a7 II XAVC-S video in Adobe Premiere Pro even updated to the most recent version? If that's the case, we would suggest transcoding to ProRes codec for Mac based Premiere, and transcoding to DNxHD codec for Windows based Premiere before start editing.

Since Premiere Pro CC.1 (7.1), Adobe has added native support for the XAVC S format, and Premiere Pro doesn't need to transcode anything to work with Sony Alpha a7 II XAVC-S files. However, some unknown problems still happen during the loading or editing progress. For me, of course, I don't like to convert my Sony Alpha a7 II XAVC-S videos, because the waste of time and the quality loss (even you can't tell from your eyes), but if you have been driven crazy by this problem, then you may like to have a try...So even though you won't gain any quality with conversion, you will many times gain performance with conversion.
